Little India & Batu Caves, KL, Malaysia

Little India is an area in KL with lots of Indian Restaurants, street food, clothes shops, it’s an interesting place with lot’s going on, bollywood music 🎶 is playing in parts of the street, and there are sometimes religious festivals in the street which are nice to watch.

Batu Caves is a nice little day trip, a complex of limestone caves that lay at the top of a long stretch of stairs. It’s a pilgrimage site for Tamil Hindus, and there are lots of pilgrims visiting on any given day, some of which climb the hard wet stone steps bare food 🤷🏻‍♂️. Beyond the Caves themselves, there are lots of Temples with detailed artwork and a selection of large Statues.

The area is also full of monkeys, its interesting to watch as they compete for food against pigeons. As we walked around , we had to be mindful of the monkeys and my backpack (the target) 🎒.
