Anahm The “Japanese Shipwreck” is located at Banyuning Bay in the village of Banyuning. It’s a scenic 40-minute walk from Amed.
This Shipwreck is much closer to the surface and is also much smaller than the USAT Liberty Shipwreck in Tulamben. Because it’s closer to the surface, it’s easier to see all the detail and appreciate when snorkelling around the wreck. As with the Liberty wreck, it’s now hosting a large amount of Coral and is home to a huge around of marine life. It’s a very scenic and fun place to snorkel and free dive.
